SUMMARY

Bold are recruiting Emergency Response Team Leader (fire & security role) to be employed at a major account in Chichester. The position is a combined role consisting of emergency response (Security, fire, first aid, & fire prevention duties)
Responsible for daily operations in accordance with the client’s policy and procedures within the confines of UK workplace and H&S regulations, best practice and law.
To manage the day-to-day operational requirements of the contract in line with customer and contractual expectations. To be the initial contact on operational security matters, ensuring a consistent quality service delivery and prompt responses to all incidents.

Responsibilities

As a Emergency Response/Security Officer, you will:

  • Report & liaise with Management teams to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard
  • Provide a highly visible security presence on and around the site
  • ​Operate internal and external patrols
  • ​Provide car park patrols and apply restrictions as required
  • ​Operate search policy as per instructed
  • ​Report writing on incidents, accidents, damage, suspicious activities
  • ​Report immediately to the Response Team Leader any action or inaction which compromises safety
  • Actively respond to an emergency such as an uncontrolled fire or release of potentially harmful substances.
  • Provide emergency medical care until the arrival of external emergency services
  • ​Accident report writing, medical reports, medical log, transfer requests from OHD to/from hospital.
  • ​Responding to spillages that may have a contamination impact to the Environment
  • ​Maintain all emergency equipment in a state of readiness, including cleanliness, repairing and testing as required to approved standards and procedures to undertake safety checks on emergency equipment provided for ERT use
  • ​Take part in continuous training and learning programmes by attending lectures, exercises, simulated incidents, practice drill sessions, security duties and other training associated with the role
