Job Title Emergency Response Technician III Compensation $51.81/hr Location 700 G Street, Alpine, AK 99501 Schedule 14x14 Rotation Target Start Date ASAP Scope Position Overview Provides field support for emergency response operations, including respiratory equipment maintenance, spill response, and safety support. This is a temporary backfill role supporting ConocoPhillips Alpine Emergency Response operations. Key Accountabilities Provide field support of respiratory equipment including: Air compressors Air sampling Required testing, maintenance, and repair Participate as a member of Fire, Medical, Rescue, and Spill Response teams Provide spill response and environmental management support Perform safety audits and hazard analysis of specific job tasks Conduct site inspections to ensure areas are free from environmental and safety risks Tasks & Responsibilities Perform fire hose testing, including large diameter hose Clean respirators used in emergency response training and field operations Maintain small tools and equipment used on fire apparatus Support emergency response training activities Perform non-technical physical labor associated with emergency response readiness Execute routine field tasks using established procedures Qualifications Required Entry level (0–3 years of experience) Ability to learn terminology, applications, and standard procedures Ability to perform routine office/field tasks Ability to communicate verbally in English Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license Preferred Firefighter I certification EMT certification Alaska North Slope experience
