Employment Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Department: Emergency Services Shift Options: Days or Mixed Schedule: Rotating Weekends Position Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously while delivering safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care. Key Responsibilities: • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages. • Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans. • Develop and implement treatment strategies and alternatives. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs. • Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate referrals as appropriate. • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary hospital teams. • Maintain a patient-focused and safety-driven approach at all times. Compensation: Hourly Pay Range Based on Experience: $26.40 to $27.72 per hour for 0–1 year of experience $34.32 per hour for approximately 7–8 years of experience Up to $39.60 per hour for 15 or more years of experience Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus Requirements Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience within the last year Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required or ability to obtain prior to start Basic Life Support BLS required prior to employment start date Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
