Employment Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Department: Emergency Services Shift: Days or Nights Schedule: Rotating Weekends Position Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care to patients ranging from minor injuries to critically ill conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced emergency department environment while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages. • Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans. • Develop and implement treatment strategies and alternatives. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs. • Provide follow-up care instructions and coordinate referrals as needed. • Collaborate closely with physicians and hospital departments. • Maintain a patient-focused and safety-driven approach at all times. Compensation: Hourly Pay Range Based on Experience: $27.72 per hour entry level $33.00 per hour approximately 5 years of experience $36.30 per hour approximately 10 years of experience $39.60 per hour approximately 15 or more years of experience Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 sign-on bonus Additional Information: Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis Requirements Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for Minimum of one year of recent acute care Emergency Room RN experience required Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required Basic Life Support BLS required prior to start Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
