POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and proven experience in Emergency Department nursing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current RN license with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Certifications required:
• CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Triage patients according to CTAS guidelines.
• Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute medical conditions.
• Administer medications and perform interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
