We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Emergency Services Officer to join our Kalgoorlie Operations. This residential role is on an 8/6 roster working 12-hour days.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in an underground and/or processing mine environment (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of applicable WHS legislation, Australian Standards & relevant Industry Codes of Practice
  • Good Computer Literacy
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role
  • Experience in effective delivery of training materials
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, verbally and in writing
  • Strong record keeping and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
  • Certificate IV Health Care or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s License
  • Certificate IV Work Health and Safety (desirable)
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (desirable)
  • Current “HR” Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence (desirable)
