Emergency Technician at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 12-hour shifts (Evenings or Variable). Reporting to the Emergency Services Nurse Manager, under the direction of Nursing or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care to patients and families of all ages as directed, in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, scope and standards of practice. Required Qualifications: * Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License or California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License or California Paramedic License * Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association * California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire. * 1 year experience in acute care. * 1 year current Emergency Services experience (maybe concurrent with acute care experience).
