Emergency technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Burbank, CA. This position is Per diem and will work 12-hour Variable shifts. Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics), and participates in related continuing education. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. California Emergency Medical Technician License upon hire or, California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License upon hire or, California Paramedic License upon hire.
