Description Privately owned small animal emergency practice seeks a dynamic, experienced veterinary technician or assistant with strong training and people development skills to join our leadership team. Must enjoy working with people as well as pets, and value an engaged work environment where we help all our technical staff succeed. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are critical. At least 2 years’ experience in emergency veterinary medicine, awesome client service skills, and confidence in emergency technical skills are required. Supervisory experience preferred but willing to help the right person with a passion for triage and effective patient care develop into this role. Experience with EzyVet and/or Vet Radar is a plus. Requirements · Work with the Veterinary Emergency Clinical Manager to optimize patient care · Oversee a team of veterinary assistants including training · Subject-matter expert on triage, patient flow, patient care and efficient diagnostics · Training and reviews of technical staff for continuous skill development · Communication with other supervisory staff of updates to procedure development · Assis in development and publishing of technical staff schedules · Assist in interviewing and hiring new technical staff Are you looking for looking for a career that offers a family/ work life balance?
