What You’ll Do

As the EMESA Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the EMESA Tax Team. You will be responsible to lead and/or assist the Senior Tax Director on a number of tax topics that includes:

  • Assisting in managing tax and compliance issues for the EMESA region including:
  • Providing day-to-day tax advice and support to the country finance teams
  • Providing tax support on contracting issues
  • Tax audit support
  • Support local controllers with understanding global policies and other transfer pricing documentation/ issues
  • US GAAP reporting
  • Overall risk management in a variety of corporate and individual tax areas
  • Work on appropriate cash management/ funding strategies
  • Working with the Global Tax Mobility team and local Finance to identify and monitor individualand corporate permanent establishment risks for all countries. Support cross-border client contracting questions
  • Cross EMESA initiatives to improve visibility on tax issues and optimize ways of working.
  • Working with cross-functional teams regarding initial due diligence for new office openings
  • On-going maintenance of the current legal entity structure within the region.
  • Working on preparation/review of year- end provisions and compliance with local tax reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with other members of the tax team, peers within Global Accounting and Control, and external advisors.Ad hoc projects.
