Aerospace and Defense test lab looking for entry-level EMI test technician for fast-paced work environment.
Candidate must have experience in one or more of the following fields: electrical, electronics, electro-mechanical.
Considered candidates should possess strong trouble shooting skills and be able to learn and retain knowledge gathered on the job.
Normal work hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, however being required to work overtime with short notice is normal. Candidates should be available to work 7 days a week if required.
With an ever-changing work environment multitasking is a necessity, employees must present a professional appearance at all times because interfacing with customers occurs on a daily basis.

-Working with other technicians and engineers to execute testing programs
-EMI/EMC testing to the requirements of military and commercial specifications
-Setting up and performing electrical and EMI tests in accordance with MIL-STD-461,MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1399, and RTCA DO-160
-Taking test data and providing it to the engineers for report preparation
-Hands-on experience with electrical and EMI/EMC test instrumentation, interpretation of test requirements, evaluation of test results, and recommendations to engineers on test requirements/results
-Must possess knowledge of test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, EMI receivers, and spectrum analyzers
-Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1399, and RTCA DO-160 is highly preferred
