Kean Miller is seeking an experienced Eminent Domain and Commercial Litigation Attorney in our Houston office. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of seven (7) years of litigation experience with a primary focus on eminent domain matters, energy and land-use litigation, and commercial litigation. The Firm represents a broad range of clients, including common carriers, gas utilities, pipeline companies, and electrical utilities exercising the power of eminent domain to acquire temporary and permanent easements for transmission and lateral lines. Qualified candidates must be capable of developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies and handling all phases of the condemnation process, from survey access and initial offers through special commissioners’ hearings and judicial proceedings involving right-to-take and damages issues.
