As part of our Emiratization initiatives, we are looking for a Business Excellence Manager to drive business excellence, process improvement, and operational governance across Engineering & Development (E&D). The role will lead governance frameworks, improve processes, and work with senior leaders to enhance efficiency, accountability, and decision-making.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implement and continuously improve business excellence frameworks, policies, and SOPs across E&D.
- Act as process owner and governance custodian, ensuring clear accountability and consistent application.
- Monitor governance compliance, effectiveness, and maturity, identifying gaps and operational risks.
- Coordinate across Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, TPMO, Risk, and Compliance.
- Partner with functional leaders to align processes, governance, and reporting with business priorities.
- Drive process mapping, optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement across E&D.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance decision-making.
- Support business excellence initiatives by defining governance structures, milestones, metrics, and reporting.
- Track initiative progress, risks, dependencies, and escalate issues where required.
- Coordinate budget tracking, cost governance, forecasting, and benefits tracking for improvement initiatives.
- Develop performance dashboards, management reports, and governance packs for senior leadership and ExCo.
- Translate performance data into insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Lean, Six Sigma, ISO, PMP, or similar professional certifications are preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in business excellence, process management, governance, or operational improvement.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in governance, process design, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong change leadership, operational transformation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking, ownership, structured problem-solving, operational excellence, and the ability to lead through influence and ambiguity.
