If you’re a compassionate person with social work or psychology training—and enjoy helping emotionally overwhelmed people feel understood and confident—this could be an excellent fit for you.
You’ll be working alongside our lead orthodontist and engineering-trained manager to build upon a patient care experience where both feelings and function matter.

PLEASE EMAIL US YOUR RESUME ALONG WITH A SHORT NOTE INCLUDING:

  • Your available days (especially whether Saturdays are possible)

  • A few words about any past dental or orthodontic experiences you’ve had — positive or negative! (It’s a great way for us to get to know you.)
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the emotional bridge between our clinical team, front desk staff, and patients, you will:

  • Provide empathetic support to patients and families navigating anxiety, indecision, or burnout during orthodontic treatment
  • Help encourage consistency in treatment compliance—aligner wear, elastics, brushing, appointments
  • Support families facing life stressors (e.g., academic pressure, divorce, perfectionism)
  • Attend consults with the doctor to support emotional clarity and follow-up
  • Prepare tone-sensitive scripts, email summaries, and progress notes

COULD THIS ROLE BE A FIT FOR YOU?

  • You love helping people feel safe and understood, especially in high-stress moments
  • You’re not afraid to sit with big feelings — and help translate them into next steps
  • You bring both empathy and structure to how you work with others
  • You’re seeking a long-term role where you can make a meaningful impact, part-time or more

    - You’re curious, coachable, and excited to learn a new (clinical) space with full support
