Hola! We are Malo Brighton, a family-owned and run Argentinian Empanada shop located in central Brighton. We are seeking passionate people who share our love for Argentinian products and can help with the production of Empanadas.
Empanadas are crescent-shaped pastries made of dough and filled with a variety of ingredients. The role would involve filling (with already-made fillings - no cooking involved), folding and shaping the empanadas and leaving them raw and ready for the floor team to cook and sell them.
Previous experience in making Argentinian empanadas is not a must but would be beneficial. Full training will be provided. You must be able to work well individually and as part of a team. Duties also include maintaining exceptional cleaning and food hygiene standards throughout the day and following the rules of health and safety.
