OVERVIEW Alera Group is looking for a Employee Benefits Account Manager. We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of clients Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches, and assist in implementing benefit program strategies Develop client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations Conduct open enrollment and client meetings virtually or in person Model employee benefits contributions to meet employer objectives QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in customer service, proposal development or account management in an employee benefit setting. Experience working with employers a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Internediate level expertise in Microsoft Office tools and the ability to analyze benefit plan financial and operational impacts Current CA Life and Health Insurance license, or ability to obtain immediately. Experience with agency management systems preferred. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This job is fully remote.
