SUMMARY:

Employee Benefits Enrollment Specialist is responsible for all perpetual enrollments and works as a Enrollment Leader and Floater for annual enrollments. Liaison to the client and Hub Consulting Team in regards to perpetual enrollments. Works closely with the EB Case Managers in day to day needs of the Enrollment Center.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel and Teams.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience with EE Navigator, Selerix or other enrollment software.
  • Previous experience in benefits, finance or human resources preferred.
  • Able to complete assigned tasks and projects within pre-defined timelines.
  • Able to effectively prioritize work and multitask
  • Team player possessing a positive, self-motivated attitude
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Able to manage a multitude of details (including paperwork); proactive while juggling these issues.
  • Possess a natural inclination to reach out, build relationships, and uncover issues before the client calls HUB.
  • Very comfortable with typical business technology including voicemail, e-mail, Microsoft Teams, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Be able to take direction from EB Case Managers, follow through and complete tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Attends pre enrollment client meetings to establish a working relationship with the client.
  • Participates in Enrollment Training to assure full knowledge of client benefit package to be able to assist counselors throughout the enrollment.
  • Test enrollment system prior to enrollment to assure worksite products are correctly built within the system.
  • Guide and assist counselors throughout active enrollment.
  • Provide phone and technical assistance to counselor throughout enrollment.
  • Liaison between Counselors & Enrollment Case Manager throughout enrollment.
  • Compile daily reports and save to client files throughout perpetual enrollment process. To include enrollment stats and Service Ticket Issues.
  • Compile and send all perpetual post enrollment reports to client to include Benefit Authorization Forms and payroll file.
  • Conducts post enrollment audit of carrier bills to determine all enrollment additions and deletions are accurately captured on the first bill following enrollment. Accurately communicate any discrepancies to ISR on account.
  • Understands and stays abreast of changes in employee benefits, including plan designs. Attends training opportunities, regularly participates in coursework to either earn or maintain professional designations.
  • Participates in team meetings. Communicates thoroughly and clearly with all team members concerning timelines, file accuracy & submissions encouragement and praise, promotes engagement, and builds good working relationships. Ensures team is following timeline.
  • Acts as client’s advocate with carriers and vendors. Always has client’s best interest at heart.
