Job Description We’re looking for an Employee Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs function and play a key role in shaping impactful, inclusive, and engaging communications across our Group Chief Operating Office. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, subject‑matter experts and colleagues from across Group Functions, helping to bring our story to life and strengthen engagement across diverse teams. What you’ll be doing: Delivering communications plans that support the Group COO communications strategy, creating clear, engaging and insight‑led content Managing communications projects that enhance colleague understanding of our purpose, priorities and leadership vision Creating compelling, people‑centred stories that illustrate progress across simplification and transformation activity Developing and delivering change communication plans that build understanding, involvement and advocacy Managing digital communication channels and content planning in partnership with GCOO stakeholders and Employee Communications colleagues Coordinating and delivering virtual and in‑person GCOO events, including town halls, agendas, speaker support and logistics Contributing to continuous improvement across the Employee Communications function, including planning, measurement and content workflow Designing communication assets that are clear, fair and aligned with regulatory and data‑protection requirements Qualifications Who we’re looking for: Strong experience in employee and change communications, with an understanding of how communication supports business strategy Excellent writing skills and the ability to develop clear, compelling narratives and key messages Experience creating content and managing communication channels across different formats and audiences Knowledge of communication planning and evaluation methodologies Ability to work autonomously, build effective relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders Experience supporting Operations and Technology teams (beneficial but not essential) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience in employee or leadership communications within a complex, regulated environment (ideally financial services) Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
