As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.  ---------------------------------------- Role Summary: The Employee Dining Room (EDR) Supervisor will direct, train and monitor performance of EDR staff, while maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas and equipment. This role will also support the EDR department with scheduling needs.  Additional responsibilities will include setting up, maintaining and breaking down the food lines, and serving scheduled meals to hotel employees, courteously and efficiently in accordance with hotel standards. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa. We have a full-time position available.   This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.  This role is designated for our Employee Dining Room. Essential Qualifications: * 3 years’ experience as a Prep Cook at a hotel restaurant or institutional kitchen. * Food handling certificate. * Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with hotel personnel to their understanding. * Ability to provide legible communication. * Ability to do basic arithmetic. Desirable: * High school graduate or equivalent vocational training. * Previous Culinary training. * Previous experience in restaurant service. * Knowledge of food preparation and handling. * Certification in sanitation. * Familiarity with proper sanitation regulations. * Ability to communicate in a foreign language, preferably Spanish Essential Skills: * Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with hotel personnel to their understanding. * Ability to provide legible communication. * Ability to do basic arithmetic. * Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed andaccuracyand good coordination. * Ability to follow directions. * Ability to plan,organizeand follow through. * Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and supplies to/from the cafeteria. * Ability to endure abundant physical movements through the work areas. * Ability to remain atassignedstation. * Ability to withstandhigh temperaturesand steam behind the serving line. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Ability to promote positive employee relations. * Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments as part of a team. * Ability to be a clear thinker, remaincalmand resolve problems using good judgment. * Ability to work well underpressure ofmeeting production schedules and timelines. * Ability tomaintaingood coordination. * Ability to work a flexible shift in hot,noisyand sometimes close conditions. * Ability to work with all products and ingredients involved. * Ability to use all senses to ensure quality standards are met. * Ability tooperate, clean andmaintainall equipmentrequiredin job functions. * Ability tocomprehendand follow recipes. * Ability to expand and condense recipes.
