What We're Looking For The Employee Experience Manager is a strategic and people-focused leader responsible for shaping, delivering, and continuously improving the employee experience across the university. Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, this role provides leadership for employee communications, engagement initiatives, and events that support a positive, connected, and mission-driven workplace culture. The Manager partners closely with HR leadership, campus stakeholders, and Marketing and Communications to ensure a consistent and meaningful experience for employees. A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A master's degree and five years of relevant experience is preferred. Additional experience or education will be considered in lieu of one another. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis. What You Will Do Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of employee-focused events such as Faculty and Staff Appreciation, All University Staff Meetings, Milestone Luncheon, and other engagement initiatives Manage event budgets, timelines, vendors, and logistics, ensuring high-quality execution and responsible use of resources Serve as a thought partner to the Director of Employee Experience on emerging trends and opportunities related to engagement and culture Develop and oversee employee communication strategies, including HR newsletters, manager communications, and HR website content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with institutional priorities Partner with HR leadership, internal HR teams, and campus partners to translate organizational initiatives into effective employee communications and experiences Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to ensure branding standards and messaging guidelines are followed across all employee-facing materials Oversee employee recognition programs, including administration and optimization of platforms such as Awardco, and recommend enhancements based on employee feedback and usage data Propose and implement new programs, tools, and resources that enhance engagement, connection, and the overall employee lifecycle experience Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance What You Can Expect As part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
