The Bigfood Group is a company that develops, produces, and markets a wide range of product solutions for well-known foodservice and retail companies. In addition to our focus on the foodservice sector, we have successfully established brands in the retail market. Our portfolio ranges from dressings and cheeses to vegan products and healthy snacks.

We are currently looking for employees (m/f/d) in quality assurance for our location in Zarrentin.

Your tasks include:

• Process monitoring: To ensure the overall quality of our products, you are responsible for monitoring quality-relevant processes in production. These include, among other things, the areas of manufacturing, packaging, and cleaning.
• Document management: Controlling production-related documents poses no difficulty for you.
• Hygiene monitoring: You coordinate and carry out hygiene monitoring throughout the entire company and make decisions about necessary follow-up work.
• Quality control of the final products
• Tastings: Together with your colleagues, you organize tastings and, of course, you also participate yourself.
• Communication: To support your work, you collaborate with external laboratories and instruct your colleagues.
• Audits: Together with the team, you will participate in the preparation of internal and external audits according to IFS Food.

You bring the following:

• Education and experience: You have completed vocational training as a food technologist or have comparable training in the food sector and have already gained professional experience in quality assurance. Experience in production would be a plus.
• Technical skills: Knowledge of food law, IFS, HACCP and quality management would be desirable.
• Willingness to work shifts
• Proactive and independent work: You act proactively, tackle tasks independently and contribute to the dynamic development of our company.
• Teamwork skills, organizational talent, flexibility, commitment: Your strong teamwork skills, organizational talent, flexibility and high level of commitment make you a valuable member of our team.
• MS Office skills: You are proficient in using MS Office applications, including Excel.
• German language skills: You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
