Description:

We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic Employee Relations Advisor for a private-equity backed business with sites in the South. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the ER Advisor will be responsible for building trusting relationships with stakeholders, providing expert ER advice and support to managers and employees across multiple sites. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly from home with regular travel to sites across the South of the UK.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong background in Employee Relations, with a proven track record in resolving ER issues.
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel to sites across the South.

    This is a permanent, part-time remote-based role with travel, offering c£28,000 - £33,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support on ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  • Advise and coach managers on best practices for managing employee relations matters.
  • Support the resolution of complex employee issues and disputes.
  • Assist with investigations and disciplinary hearings when necessary.
  • Deliver ER training to management teams as required.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date.
