ACCOUNTABILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the triaging of case work and handling informal case queries and issues.
  • Analyse data and produce reports and analysis to understand our workload and case trends.
  • Assist the employee relations team in communicating employment relations policies to managers and employees.
  • Research and support the maintenance of legally robust employment policies and processes.
  • Support our employee forums, managing meetings and member elections.
  • Provide co-ordination support to the ER team, coordinating complex meetings and off-site events, diary arrangements, and travel in line with AZ policy.
  • Control small projects under general guidance, ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan, reviewing and refining plans as necessary.
  • Manage administration of invoicing and other essential team functions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems and databases for case management.
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and inform decision-making.
  • Previous experience in an HR-related role, or significant administrative experience involving policy and process management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and information dissemination.
  • Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating empathy and understanding in handling sensitive situations.
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and independence in day-to-day activities.
  • A degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, employment law, or project management is advantageous.
