Anderson Knight is working in partnership with a leading organisation currently preparing for multiple organisational design (OD) changes. We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to partner closely with the wider team to deliver fair, compliant, and efficient outcomes.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, the client would also consider a candidate looking for a part time working arrangement.
This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of upcoming OD programmes, and we’re looking for a seasoned ER professional who has managed redundancy processes end to end.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience managing full-cycle redundancy programmes, including consultation planning, selection criteria, communication, and redeployment.
  • Proven background in handling complex ER issues in fast-paced, change-heavy environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and statutory consultation requirements.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and guide senior leaders.
  • Not suitable for generalist HR professionals—we are seeking a specialist in employee relations and organisational change.
  • Part-time availability will be considered for the right candidate.
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
    Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support through complex redundancy programmes from start to finish.
  • Lead or co-lead consultation processes (both individual and collective), ensuring full compliance and consistency.
  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to navigate sensitive organisational change.
  • Provide clear, practical advice and coaching to leaders throughout the process.
  • Support related ER issues including restructures, TUPE (if applicable), and change communications.
