The Employee Relations & Disability Management Lead provides Human Resources expertise, support, advice and guidance to all departments and employees of the city in all areas of Human Resources and plays a crucial role in supporting employees and fostering a positive work environment. The position provides day to day support and coaching to the management teams on all employee and labour relations matters, collective agreement administration and disability management.
This position develops strategic relationships by building relationships of trust with both management and union leadership. It advises, coaches and works collaboratively with the management teams on all aspects of “people” interventions, thereby assisting them to efficiently manage their staff to achieve strategic objectives. The employee Relations & Disability Management Officer supports the entire life cycle of our employees, utilizing exceptional communication skills to partner closely with senior leaders to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of people related services to management and staff.
