We are seeking a professional and people-oriented Employee Relations Officer to  manage employee relations, workplace concerns, grievance handling, disciplinary matters, and employee engagement activities. The role will help maintain a positive, respectful, and productive work environment while ensuring HR policies and applicable labour requirements are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations

  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns and HR-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships between employees and  management.
  • Listen to employee concerns and provide appropriate guidance and support.
  • Handle employee grievances, complaints, and workplace disputes professionally and confidentially.
  • Investigate employee relations issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support management in resolving workplace conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Conduct employee meetings, counselling sessions, and feedback discussions when required.

HR Policies & Procedures

  • Communicate company HR policies, procedures, rules, and employee benefits to staff.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across departments.
  • Assist in developing and updating employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable employment/labour regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of employee relations cases and actions taken.

Disciplinary & Performance  Management

  • Assist management in handling disciplinary cases in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare warning letters, show-cause notices, disciplinary documentation, and other HR correspondence.
  • Support performance improvement processes and employee counselling.
  • Monitor repeated attendance, conduct, or performance-related issues.
  • Maintain confidential records of disciplinary and performance-related matters.

Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Organize employee engagement activities, meetings, surveys, and welfare initiatives.
  • Gather employee feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support employee recognition and appreciation programs.
  • Coordinate with HR and management to address workplace welfare concerns.
  • Help improve employee morale, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.

HR Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee records and correspondence related to employee relations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on grievances, disciplinary cases, absenteeism, turnover, and employee engagement.
  • Track and follow up on open employee relations cases until resolution.
  • Coordinate with HR, payroll, administration, and department managers as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
  • Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, personnel administration, or a similar role.
