Shift: Monday- Friday Fulltime 8:00am-5:00pm Job Location: Altamonte Springs The role you will contribute: Responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of the company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. This position provides guidance and support to team members and management by implementing strategies to enhance workplace productivity and harmonization. Additionally, this role maintains positive working relationships with department leaders, human resources partners, and employees. In addition, this position identifies and analyzes issues, provides recommendations for resolutions to complex employee relations issues, and utilizes technical tools and systems to provide data analysis, streamline processes, and optimize employee relations initiatives. Ensures compliance with Company, state, and federal laws by applying advanced knowledge to employee relations activities and modeling critical thinking for complex problems. The value you will bring to the team: · Provides advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices utilized at the department and companywide level. · Supports all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and reporting and analytics. · Conducts investigations into team member concerns, ensuring investigations are executed with fairness, thoroughness, and confidentiality. · Assists with developing and implementing employee relations programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement. · Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support improvements in employee relations policies and practices. · Monitors changes in relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. · Escalates appropriate requests to immediate leader as necessary. · Leads special projects and performs other reasonable duties as assigned. · Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of employee relations activities and investigations. · Other duties as assigned. · Supervises assigned staff, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching on individual and team performance outcomes. · Utilizes technical tools and systems to create reporting, analytics, and team member data management to support human resources processes and initiatives. · Trains and supports employee relations policies, procedures, and technical systems. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required [Required] · HR Knowledge: Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and company policies. [Required] · Data and Analytics: Ability to understand and interpret human resources data. [Required] · Problem Solving: Apptitude for identifying and solving complex problems employee relations issues by analyzing internal and external data. [Required] · Bachelor’s degree. · 5+ experience in employee relations or similar hr role. [Required] Preferred Qualifications: · Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, especially PeopleSoft or Workday preferred. [Preferred] · Knowledge of human resource related areas of compliance, including federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare/industry specific regulations [Preferred] · 3+ diversified experience in human resources field or in a generalist role [Preferred] · Experience in customer service field, human resources [Preferred] · Professional in Human Resources (PHR) [Preferred] · Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) [Preferred] · SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) [Preferred] · SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) [Preferred]
