About the role We are currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Senior Specialist to join the Operations, People and Safety Team at Essential Energy on a permanent ongoing basis.  This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint [https://www.essentialenergy.com.au/about-us/our-network-area]. The Employee Relations Senior Specialist is responsible for managing the provision of expert advice on a wide range of employee relations matters. This includes the need to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.  The position is responsible for supporting organisational level matters along with escalations related to employee disputes. This includes the preparation of complex legal submissions, evidence and other supporting material.  About You You are an experienced HR or Industrial Relations professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law, or demonstrated capability through relevant qualifications and professional experience. With a strong background as a Business Partner or IR specialist, you bring sound knowledge of industrial awards and agreements within complex, highly unionised environments. A confident and influential communicator, you build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and apply strong negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving skills to deliver practical, well‑considered advice. You are highly organised, self‑directed and comfortable working autonomously under pressure, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations that support successful business outcomes. Required Qualifications  * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
