Job Overview: As an Employee Relations Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the Head of Employee Relations (ER) within the Emirates NBD Group. The overall objective of this role is to support ER Head in a broad range of ER issues associated with maintaining employee policies and procedures and workplace concerns. Key Responsibilities: Primary point of contact for employee relations matters such as grievance, disciplinary/conduct cases and speak up complaints, including scheduling appointments, note taking, preparing and circulating investigation reports, draft outcome letters through to case closure. Work closely with HR business partners to provide advisory support and to deal with ER related issues and provide recommendations for resolving issues under supervision. Manage core ER processes including disciplinary, capability, appeals and blacklisting and advise on policies and processes. Report ER cases in case management tool, and work with Management Information Systems to develop and provide detailed reporting on ER activity for data visualisation and to enable the business to make informed decisions in line with reporting requirements. Support ER team members and Head of ER as appropriate on ER related matters, initiatives and day-to-day transactional activity. Work with ER Head to actively review systems and process improvements. Escalating and alerting high risk cases or non-confirmation of process in a timely manner to the ER Head. Manage and develop rigorous data analysis based on business needs and support governance and compliance teams. Provide and manage periodic reporting and presentations when required to support ER Head. Skills and Experience To be successful in the role, you will need the following: Previous experience working with HR legal matters and/or ER tasks Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; Critically analyse data and develop KPIs; Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely; Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on resolution and flexible approach to work; Ability to multi-task, work to tight deadlines, prioritise under pressure and use own initiative; Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team to provide support; Resilience, adaptability and passion for learning Degree-level education or demonstrable relevant work experience There’s never been a better time to join Emirates NBD.
