Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a natural organiser with a passion for people and process? At Maurice Blackburn, our People & Culture (P&C) team is looking for a solutions-focussed administration professional ready to step into a leadership role that truly matters. You’ll play a key part in creating smooth, supportive employee experiences — from their first day to their last. If you’re driven by purpose and thrive in a people-first environment, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As the Employee Services Team Leader, you’ll lead a dedicated team and ensure the smooth delivery of P&C services across the organisation. This permanent, full-time role offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities, giving you the chance to contribute to meaningful work while developing your skills across the full employee lifecycle. It’s a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a purpose-led organisation that values people and progress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and support Administrators to deliver consistent, high-quality service across People & Culture operations.
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, departures, staff movements, flexible work arrangements, study support, and more.
  • Ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and effective administrative support across all touchpoints.
  • Act as a key partner to the P&C team and leaders — enhancing processes, supporting change initiatives, and delivering accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain efficient procedures to manage the inflow of P&C administration across the firm.
  • Ensure effective document management practices are in place, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with relevant protocols.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes and service delivery.
