Job Description Employees Relations Specialist Location: Perth / Hybrid Reporting to: HR Advisory Manager About the role As an Employee Relations Specialist, you take full ownership of a complex, high volume case portfolio across a diverse national footprint. Reporting to the HR Advisory Manager, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of sensitive employee relations matters, serving as the primary subject matter expert for leadership. We are looking for a seasoned practitioner who can provide the “how-to” when navigating intricate workplace challenges. You will ensure every outcome is pragmatically balanced, operationally sound and strictly compliant with the applicable Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation. This role demands a solutions-focused approach that effectively balances organisational risk with statutory obligations in a fast-paced advisory environment. Experience Lead the end-to-end resolution of complex ER cases, including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances and workplace investigations. Apply a deep understanding of Australian Employment Law, focusing on the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards. Support enterprise agreement bargaining processes and provide interpretation of existing agreements. Partner with a broad stakeholder group across both skilled and non-skilled workforces withing a large-scale, multi-site organisation. Deliver practical easy to understand advice that remains clear and composed even in high-pressure situations. Knowledge & skills Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field with significant exposure to employee relations and case management Demonstratedability to deliver solution-focused HR/ER advise of varying complexity while maintaining strict compliance standards Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP SuccessFactors Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
