THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a creative and detail-focused Employer Brand & Social Media Content Lead to join our People team on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity leave. Holland & Barrett is evolving — and our story deserves to be shared with energy, purpose and authenticity.
In this role, you’ll help bring our brand to life across social platforms and employer brand channels. You’ll work closely with teams across Recruitment, Corporate Affairs, Brand, Internal Communications, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and our wider People team to shape and share what it feels like to work at H&B.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We welcome applications from individuals with a range of life and career experiences — whether you’re early in your journey, or exploring a career shift.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person.
  • Has experience in employer branding, social media, talent attraction, or brand communications.
  • Understands how different social media platforms work and how to engage audiences effectively.
  • Can apply digital tone of voice and visual brand guidance.
  • Has the ability to create and edit simple visual content for social media and employer channels, using basic design tools confidently.
  • Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Holds a qualification or has equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Has worked in a retail or consumer-facing brand.
Responsibilities
  • Apply and adapt our employer brand framework to engaging, brand-aligned social media and content.
  • Publish company updates and culture stories across channels like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, job boards and more.
  • Maintain and enhance our employer brand presence on external platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, Brand, Internal Comms, the EDI Manager, and the wider H&B team to gather and shape content.
  • Manage an employer brand content calendar, ensuring alignment with internal communications, corporate events, and marketing activity.
  • Monitor content performance, identify improvements, and evolve our employer brand content to keep it fresh and engaging.
