REQUIREMENTS

  • Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
  • Experience in a sales, recruitment, or business development role.
  • A proven track record of delivering to targets or successfully achieving KPIs.
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Access to own vehicle essential
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills and abilities using Microsoft and internal systems
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with students, staff and people external to the College.
  • Highly developed sales and customer service skills with a good understanding of sales techniques likely to be successful with employers.
  • Ability to complete work to deadlines and effectively manage a high-volume workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels across the College.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students’ future careers? Do you thrive on building relationships and partnerships with organisations and employers? If so, our Apprenticeships & Business Engagement department is currently seeking an Employer Engagement Officer to join our team.
As an Employer Engagement Officer, you will actively pursue and develop partnerships with existing employers, partners and stakeholders to identify skills and recruitment needs as well as work experience placement opportunities for learners. You will obtain and monitor work experience compliance and attendance to achieve targets to include those of leaners who are expected to complete extended work placement. You will collaborate with the Business Development Manager to ensure a swift intervention when required to meet the College’s expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and record regular work experience attendance on Pro Monitor against each learner, ensuring they are working towards their hours target in a timely manner.
  • For those learners who are expected to complete extended work placement hours of 315 towards their Healthcare T-level qualification, the completion of T-level agreement contacts will be required to comply with T-level funding rules.
  • Conduct Employer and Learner H&S risk assessments for each work placement premises prior to the placement start date to ensure learners are provided with a safe, disciplined and positive employment environment.
  • Maintain regular contact with new and existing employers to develop current and future opportunities and identify relevant, high-quality work experience.
  • Provide an accurate weekly report of wok placement progress for each learner against your targets to the Business Development Manager in a timely manner.
