WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for passionate and experienced Employment Advisors to join Walsall Council’s Employment and Skills team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver the new Connect to Work programme, supporting residents with significant health challenges into sustainable employment using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IPS delivery, confident in managing a small caseload and providing tailored, one-to-one support that integrates employment and health services.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience delivering IPS or similar supported employment models.
• A strong understanding of the barriers faced by people with health conditions.
• Excellent communication and caseload management skills.
• A Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience) in CIAG, social work or a related field.
• A commitment to inclusive, person-centred support and continuous professional development.
• You’ll be motivated, resilient and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives through employment.
