SLP EMPLOYMENT AND SKILLS PROJECT OFFICER

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing project support and co-ordination of all SLP programs as required. You may be required to support team SLP employment and skills projects.
  • Supporting a comprehensive program of performance reporting and providing project information and data analysis.
  • Stakeholder management includes clear written and verbal communication.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary events with health partners.
  • Project management of a social media campaign in partnership with an external social media company.
  • There will be budget and finance responsibilities, including accounts payable management, auditing, setting up new suppliers and processing invoices.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of the employment and skills opportunities and challenges across the South London Partnership areas
  • Experience of working with councils on employment and skills activity
  • Ability to collect, collate, summarise and analyse information and draft high quality reports for management
  • Ability to develop, maintain and review a range of different project management reporting, including information technology systems

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Employment and Skills Project Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the programme and performance management of the delivery partners of the skills and employment programme and coordinating the project reporting all SLP Employment and Skills projects. You will work closely with the Programme Lead to oversee and ensure high quality delivery of the SLP programmes to meet Greater London Authority (GLA) requirements and funding expectations. You will be working with primary health and integrated neighbourhood teams to support the development of an innovative approach to deliver services such as setting up a digital triage referral system for use with health partners.
