ACSA Newcomer and Settlement Department is looking to hire an Employment Consultant who is skilled in providing assistance and information to job seeker clients on all aspects of employment search, career planning and building relationship with employers.

EMPLOYER OUTREACH, RELATIONSHIP BUILDING, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

• Contact employers in various industries to promote ACSA’s work in the community
• Work with employers to facilitate recruitment initiatives, including introducing them to clients looking for work and ensuring quality of work placements
• Conduct on-site visits at employer locations to ensure suitable and safe workplace environments.
• Negotiate and administer placement, incentive, and other agreements with employers, including wage subsidies that are available to offset their costs.
• Plan, organize, and host job fairs, hiring events, and information sessions.
