Responsibilities

As an Employment Consultant, this position works in partnership with lead Rehabilitation and Vocational Consultants to drive return to work outcomes for injured workers.

Some of the key day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implementing tailored and strategic job seeking services for individual clients
  • Engage in 1:1 coaching with clients to support their learning and empower clients through building independent job seeking capabilities
  • Utilise marketing and cold calling approaches to connect with potential host employers for supported placements and paid work, on client’s behalf
  • Compile and submit applications for SIRA incentives and other programs to facilitate upskilling and supported placement outcomes
  • Access the hidden job market through networking with existing and new employer partnerships
  • Taking ownership of new employment strategies to drive performance and achieve placement KPI’s
  • Motivate and empower client’s to overcome presenting barriers, through coaching and individualised job search support
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and whole of person approach
