TRAINEE EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT & POST-TRAINING SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

_ Employment Readiness & Career Support_

  • Build relationships with trainees, families, and stakeholders to support employment transition outcomes.
  • Support trainees’ employment goals through résumé workshops, interview preparation, and career coaching.
  • Guide trainees in exploring job opportunities and working toward long-term career goals.
  • Provide financial planning support related to employment (e.g., budgeting, transportation, and work-related expenses).
  • Identify common barriers to employment (e.g., transportation, childcare, communication) and collaborate with trainees and Success Coaches to plan solutions.

_ Program Coordination & Documentation_

  • Coordinate and ensure clear next steps for all trainees seeking employment after training.
  • Ensure all required forms and documentation are complete and up to date for job shadowing, apprenticeships, internships, and other employment opportunities.
  • Collect, track, and report clinical requirements and paperwork for job shadowing and site visits.
  • Support trainees with apprenticeship applications, ensuring paperwork, dues, equipment, and uniforms are in place.
  • Manage communication, preparation, and logistics for job shadowing, internships, and work-based learning experiences.

_ Collaboration & Reporting_

  • Partner with Success Coaches and instructors to verify trainees’ employment next steps.
  • Track, verify, and report employment data to the Director of Employer Partnerships and staff (monthly in the fall; weekly in the spring).
  • Use employment outcomes and feedback data to inform program improvements and strengthen transition planning.

_ Alumni & Retention Support_

  • Provide light-touch follow-up and support for alumni during the first 90 days of employment to promote retention and address barriers to success.
