Description

Are you an experienced Employment Lawyer with at least 6 years’ PQE and strong advocacy experience? Do you have the versatility to adapt your approach, building strong relationships with blue-chip companies while providing expert Tribunal advocacy and HR support to large, successful organisations? If so, we’d love to hear from you

ABOUT US

We are Vista and whilst you may not have heard of us, you will certainly have heard of our long standing clients which include Airbus, CHEP, Emerson, Reckitt, Stellantis and Wickes. We are a niche employment law service with a very different offering to the traditional law firms or large employment consultancies. We act almost like an in-house employment law and ER service, providing commercially focused employment law and employee relations advice along with tribunal representation, investigations, training, diversity & inclusion and e-learning solutions. We are passionate about understanding the needs of our clients and work closely with them in order to provide a unique integrated service delivery model.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an Employment Lawyer who shares this passion and is excited by the prospect of a varied workload, taking a pragmatic approach, innovating and contributing to commercial projects and business development.
You will have solid experience of advising a professional client base of HR teams in large organisations, possess an excellent knowledge of all areas of employment law with a practical approach to resolving employee relations challenges and a particular talent for tribunal advocacy. You will be experienced in working with Trade Unions and TUPE, along with contentious respondent matters and have the ability to balance competing priorities and time pressures. Training experience is desirable but not essential, more important is your willingness and ability to deliver innovative and engaging training experiences.
Whilst you will be home based, you will be required to travel to client premises and employment tribunals across the UK which will necessitate overnight stays.
If this all sounds like you then we can offer a great range of benefits, including Private Healthcare, Critical Illness Cover, Life Assurance, Medical Cashplan, Birthday off, plus Volunteering Days and access to shopping discounts. You will also be working in one of the best teams around in a business which was the first to achieve the ISO International Standard for Diversity and Inclusion.
Please apply with your CV and a covering letter explaining your salary expectations, why you are interested in working for Vista and what attributes you would bring to the role.
Vista, part of WorkNest is committed to creating a culture of Inclusion and ensuring that everyone – job applicants, clients, colleagues, and anyone else we deal with – is treated fairly and with respect. We continuously review our policies and processes to support our aim to create a diverse team, however, please speak to our Talent and Recruitment specialist if there are any adjustments, we need to make in order to ensure, a genuine equality of opportunity
