This role is centred on leading and continuously strengthening our Kōrero Mai / Speak Up system. You will take ownership of how the system operates in practice ensuring it is trusted, accessible, and effective while also supporting the careful and fair handling of individual concerns. You will work closely with People & Culture colleagues and PSA delegates, building strong, constructive relationships that support positive outcomes for individuals and the organisation. The position will be focussed on: Overseeing the Speak Up system, including reviewing and improving supporting materials, policies, and processes to ensure they are clear, effective, and fit for purpose. Promoting awareness, accessibility, and trust in Speak Up across the organisation. Managing and supporting individual Speak Up cases with maturity, care, and sound judgement, ensuring fair, confidential, and consistent handling. Providing guidance and coaching to leaders and employees navigating concerns or raising issues. Identifying trends and insights from Speak Up matters and contributing to proactive improvements. Building strong working relationships with People & Culture colleagues, leaders, and PSA delegates. Contributing to broader employment relations work (potentially including remuneration, supporting performance review cycles, and/or collective or individual employment agreement processes) as required. This is a part‑time role of up to 20 hours, with flexible working hours and location. Good knowledge of employment legislation. Knowledge in conflict resolution, investigations, and workplace processes. Ability to assess risk and make sound, balanced decisions. Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to build trust and engage with people at all levels. Empathy, cultural awareness, and sound judgement. A high attention to detail.
