He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a true generalist opportunity, combining day-to-day HR and ER partnering with the leadership and delivery of key People and Capability strategic projects and initiatives. This role will also have a specialist element and will play a key role in implementing our People pillars and projects that impact the whole business. Here is what you could be involved with on any given day: Develop and own the company employment relations strategy Lead business partners and people leaders to effectively manage employment relations matters Build Industrial Relations strategy, contribute to Collective Bargaining and develop and lead the Union Engagement Plan As a member of a multi-discipline HR team, the ER Business Partner will contribute to the delivery of an organisation-wide ER and therefore People strategy linked support model and the adjacent people policy development. Coach and upskill People Leaders and other Business Partners in effective and compliant employee relations management, supporting our people, managing risk and minimising escalation This role will play a key role in the team managing day to day employee issues effectively and in line with NZ employment legislation and best practice Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you We're looking for someone who loves building relationships and getting meaningful work done.
