Realise your potential at yourtown

• Extensive knowledge of youth employment issues including challenges to employment, strategies to overcome challenges and a demonstrated empathy with young people.
• Certificate IV in Youth Work or a related discipline a minimum of two years experience in a similar role; OR a minimum of four years of experience in youth work (or similar role) – this applies to the Youth Worker position only.
• The drive to meet KPIs – it isn’t just a number; it is a young person’s life that you help change for the better.
• You understand the local labour market and can develop employer focused strategies to place disadvantaged young people into sustainable employment.
• Strong administrative skills, computer literacy and demonstrated attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Confident with problem-solving on the go, navigating challenges with an outcomes-focused approach.
• You’re a natural problem solver, who can multi-task and prioritise your workload.
• Australian Drivers Licence
