Incomplete applications will not be considered.   The Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks An Employment Services Specialist with demonstrated commitment and experience providing clients with a range of employment services. The counseling and case management duties involve a variety of activities to help clients plan careers and locate/retain appropriate employment. This position provides career development and counseling services, job placement services, collaborates with service partners and performs the administrative tasks required to fulfill program objectives. The position will work in the Arlington Employment Center (AEC), which is part of the Economic Independence Division, and serves residents of Arlington County in their employment and workforce needs. Arlington County DHS is committed to delivering client services in an effective, equitable, respectful, and trauma-informed manner.
