As an Employment Specialist for the PASS and BFET programs, you’ll play a vital role in helping job seekers gain the skills, confidence, and support they need to succeed. You’ll guide participants under BFET (Basic Food Employment and Training) via employment training, career navigation, and job placement. Through the PASS program, you’ll specifically support clients preparing for Department of Labor apprenticeships by providing career coaching, resume development, application assistance, and the ongoing support they need to successfully enter and thrive in apprenticeship opportunities. This position is about more than checking boxes—it’s about empowering people to identify their strengths, pursue meaningful career paths, and achieve lasting employment. Success in this role comes from being a strong communicator, a patient coach, and a resourceful problem-solver who is motivated by helping others succeed. This position is full time and will in-person work based out of our offices in WorkSource Columbia Basin and in TC Futures (both located in Kennewick, WA). While not a requirement, we do prefer candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English.
