Express Employment Professionals in Valdosta is looking for a motivated Employment Specialist / Recruiter to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is sales-driven, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As part of our staffing team, you will play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and placing candidates with local businesses while building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Do:

• Source and recruit candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and our talent database
• Conduct in-person interviews and screen resumes to match candidates with the right jobs
• Perform background checks and skill testing as needed
• Onboard new hires and maintain accurate employee records
• Build relationships with clients by following up on performance and ensuring excellent service
• Market top talent to existing and prospective clients
• Manage high-volume communications including calls, emails, and text messages
• Handle administrative tasks such as updating databases, scanning, and filing

What We’re Looking For:

• Recruiting, staffing, or sales experience (1+ year preferred)
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic social media platforms
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
• Typing speed of 30+ WPM
