Description Berks Personnel Network, a division of Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., is searching for an Employment Specialist. The Employment Specialist provides assessment, job development, training and follow-up support for assigned individuals. Responsibilities include networking and actively seeking competitive employment opportunities for individuals with challenges. Must be a self-starter willing to work a flexible schedule and have the ability to work independently within the community. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. flexible. These are great work hours with paid Holidays starting day one of employment for full time employees!! This position starts at $19.00 an hour. Threshold offers a comprehensive benefit package, 401 (k) plan, and tuition reimbursement for full time employees and paid holidays off starting day one of employment. Comprehensive paid training provided. EOE M/F/D/V Requirements Qualified candidates will posses at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree Computer knowledge is a must Bilingual is a plus Valid PA Driver's License PA Motor Vehicle Record Check Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver Pre-employment Drug Screen FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services) Child Abuse Clearance PA Criminal History Clearance FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
