The YourEMR Program aims to deliver a comprehensive digital patient record across ambulatory, inpatient and community services at both organisations. To achieve this, GH & SVHM will be employing an EMR program team to design, build and implement an EMR across both organisations. About the Role In order to achieve our vision of a single patient record, GH and SVHM will be recruiting a single EMR program team to design, build and implement our EMR. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of a large-scale transformational program across two large health services. As the YourEMR Program Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial insights to guide decision-making across the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: maintaining and updating financial models to reflect evolving business case assumptions managing work-in-progress (WIP) accounts ensuring accurate budget tracking across both local and shared funding streams for two health services You will work in collaboration with a number of key stakeholders across GH and SVHM including both Finance teams. Classifications for this position will range between a HS3-HS25 (per annum salary will based on experience). A Bit About You Must Have Tertiary qualifications in a related field along and/or relevant industry experience. Demonstrated experience in project accounting, preferably within a healthcare or complex project environment. Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles, including capitalisation and SaaS expenditure treatment. Proven ability to develop and maintain financial models, budgets and forecasts for large-scale projects. High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial reporting, variance analysis and benefits realisation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or project accounting software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams, managing competing priorities and deadlines. Nice to Have Experience working in a hospital or health care setting is highly desirable; Experience with the use of project management software, including Jira is an advantage.
