We are seeking an experienced and dynamic EMR Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the electronic medical record (EMR) system and be able to excel in all areas of the system. The EMR Trainer will work closely with both clinical and non-clinical staff, including providers, to effectively train and support the use of the EMR system. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective and efficient use of our EMR system in varying clinic settings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification or training in EMR software or systems (eClinicalWorks is preferred).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare training role.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and operations, particularly in clinical settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group training sessions for staff members on the effective use of the EMR system, ensuring that all staff are proficient and comfortable with its features and capabilities.
  • Create and update training materials, manuals, and documentation to ensure comprehensive, easy-to-understand guidance for staff members.
    • Collaborate with staff to identify EMR system errors and provide practical, temporary solutions to adjust workflows. • Monitor and assess staff performance post-training, providing additional support as needed to ensure continued proficiency and comfort with the system.

• Stay up to date on the latest EMR software updates, enhancements, and industry best practices to continually improve training processes. • Assist in configuration and customization to meet the unique needs of various clinic settings.

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users at all levels of expertise.
  • Identify and recommend new features or tools within the EMR system that could improve efficiency or productivity.
  • Collaborate with other medical groups or organizations that use the same EMR system to share best practices, troubleshoot challenges, and leverage collective knowledge for continuous improvement
