Description Description The EMT at LGTC Group - Eating Disorder RTC plays a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to our adolescent clients going through eating disorder treatment in our 24/7 facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all patients receive timely medical attention and support, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery. Ultimately, the EMT will help create a safe and nurturing environment that provides comfort and safety for all clients during the overnight shift. We have two NOC shift schedules, NOC 1 from 10:30pm-7:00am and NOC 2 from 11:30-8:00am. All part- and full-time employees are required to work a Saturday shift. As of **1/14/2026**, we are looking for full-time or part-time EMTs with the availability to work the following shifts: Monday NOC 1 (10:30PM-7:00AM) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday NOC 2 (11:30PM-8:00AM) Responsibilities: Monitor clients overnight by completing rounds every 15 minutes Administer medication under the direction of our medical professionals Take vitals as needed Cleaning Survey for ligature and other safety risks in the facility Communicate effectively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Minimum Qualifications: Valid CA EMT certification Current CPR/BLS/First-Aid certification Ability to work one weekend shift regularly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative Reliable and able to commit to a set schedule for a minimum of six months Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency medical setting Experience working night shifts Proficiency in Spanish Experience working with teenagers This posting is for night shifts only. For those who are interested in working shifts during the day, it is required to have a bachelor's degree. Applicants who do not have a bachelor’s degree will only be eligible to work night shifts.
