Description About you and the role: The position of Standby EMT is a PRN position operating under the Emergency Response Division and will provide medical standby service for various clients of BPM. The provider will be issued a vehicle and necessary medical equipment. Work Schedule: No specific hourly schedule What you will do: Regular Job Duties Under the supervision of EMS Response, you are responsible for: Emergency Medical care of participants and or spectators of the event as needed Arranging patient transfer with local EMS if patient transfer is needed Complete documentation on patients using Best Practice Medicine PCRs Additional duties as assigned by the GM of Emergency Response Requirements Basic Qualifications: NREMT AHA BLS EMS State License Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience EMS Physical Requirements: Must be able to carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Occasionally: Adverse weather environments Constantly: Non-climate-controlled environments Physical Requirements: Frequently: This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, and bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing. Responsibilities

The Standby EMT provides emergency medical care to participants and spectators as needed under the supervision of EMS Response, and is responsible for arranging patient transfers with local EMS when necessary. This role also requires completing patient documentation using Best Practice Medicine PCRs and fulfilling additional duties assigned by the GM of Emergency Response.
